Concreting across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane.

We're based in Surfers Paradise and pour driveways, slabs, stairs and pool surrounds from Ormeau to Coolangatta and across Logan. Brisbane jobs by arrangement.

Each area has its own soil, councils and building styles. These pages explain what that means for your concrete.

Why the area matters

Same concrete, different ground.

A driveway in Palm Beach and a driveway in Park Ridge use the same trucks and the same crew. The ground underneath is what's different.

  • Soil. Coastal suburbs are mostly sand, which drains fast and barely moves. Much of Logan and the hinterland sits on clay that swells when wet and shrinks when dry, so slabs need more steel and better edge detail.
  • Council. The driveway crossover between your boundary and the road needs approval from your council. That's the City of Gold Coast, Logan City Council or Brisbane City Council, and each has its own process. See our crossover approval guide.
  • Estates. Newer estates often have covenants that set the driveway finish and colour, and a deadline after handover.
  • Terrain and access. Steep blocks need pumps, more formwork and stairs. Acreage needs long runs and drainage across the driveway.
